Dr. Abigail Stowell
Dr. Abigail Stowell has been providing veterinary care to the Hayward community since 2015. She graduated top of her class from the University of Wisconsin, Madison in 2009 and has a passion for unique animal cases.
In her spare time she enjoys hiking with her two dogs and spending time in the garden at her family farm.
Certified Practice Manager & Veterinary Technician
Jillian has been a veterinary technician for 20+ years. She started her career at a young age in California where she grew up. She has a passion for all animals and runs her own small business, Sassi Kids, LLC where her and her family make goat milk soap & other products.
Her favorite aspect of being a vet tech is reproductive services/education and the whelping of puppies and kittens. She also enjoys complex general surgery cases.
In her spare time she enjoys watching movies with her two children, snuggling her kitties, goofing around with her ferrets, and spending time with her husband on their farm.
Rhonda is a lifetime Hayward resident, married with two adult children and two grandchildren. She has over 25 years experience with rescue dogs and cats with the local humane society as a volunteer, employee, and a foster with a background in fostering special needs animals.
Rhonda is crazy about English and French Bulldogs. You will see her Frenchie, Tucker, from time to time at the clinic. She is currently working on adding an English Bulldog rescue to her family.....stay tuned!
Her favorite parts of her job include assisting with dentals and surgical monitoring and recovery.
Mary came out of an early retirement to become a member of Dr. Abby's team. Previously she had been a volunteer receptionist at the Nothwoods Humane Society for several years while completing a social science degree program online through UW Whitewater. Mary has one adult son and three wonderful grandchildren that all live in San Diego. A longtime resident in the Hayward area, Mary now resides near the Chippewa Flowage with her partner, Dave. Mary and Dave have anywhere from one or more dogs at any given time, and have hosted a number of foster dogs across the years. Mary is looking forward to utilizing her office skills and learning the ropes at Dr. Abby's practice.
Linsey was born and raised in Hayward and always has a menagerie of pets. She is an entrepreneur at heart, that has started and ran many successful businesses over the last 20+ years. When she is not helping out at Dr. Abby’s, she is a WI/MN/FL real estate agent. Outside of work, her passions are restoring old homes and old cars with her husband Matt. Her favorite things are her dogs, Disney, and the beach.
Jessica has grown up in Wisconsin and has lived throughout the state. She has worked in the veterinary field for 15+ years. She served in the National Guard (Army) for 12 years. She attended tech school in 2014, she hopes to take her VTNE soon! Her favorite part of vet med is helping to educate clients on proper pet care and growing her knowledge and skills as new techniques arise.
In her spare time she enjoys fishing, camping, and hiking with her husband, Kyler and her daughter.
Lilly joined Dr. Abby’s team in spring of 2023 as a vet assistant. Lilly is the daughter of Owen and Katie Johnson and is homeschooled on her family’s farm with her 2 siblings, Beck and Sidney. She plans on attending Dakota County Technical collage to become a Vet Tech. When Lilly is not working at Dr. Abby’s she he’s enjoying her many farm animals and going on hikes with her Bernese Mountain Dog, Wally.
Samantha and her family moved to Hayward full time in 2018 from La Crosse, WI. Samantha has a BA in Business Administration from Purdue Global University and brings with her over 15 years of project management, process improvement, and customer service experience.
She enjoys spending time with her husband Zach, son Hunter, and their many fur babies (Scarlett, Jack, Tank, Georgia, Mr. Chubby Cat, Hei-Hei, Timmy, and Zeppelin). An unless you have some time to spare, don't get her started talking about them!
Receptionist & Vet assistant
Ramie spent most of her life living in the Southwest and moved to Northern Wisconsin in the fall of 2023. She loves being outside and spending time with her husband and their two furr babies Basil & Mia. When Ramie isn’t at Dr. Abbys, you can find her out in the garden getting her hands in the dirt, playing in the water or off on a hike with her family.
